Visit the Reds and Greys in Brattleboro Vermont. On January 27, I presented a puppet demonstration talk and you can see it here. (this YouTube talk starts at 06:30). I have been creating a new character and his tools for this demonstration. Meet the Cobbler and see how I make my figurines. The Theatrical exhibition at the Art Museum explores the dystopian world of the Reds and Greys as we see them in video, the newest Toy Theatre, their portraits and all new for the exhibition: architectural habitat. The show runs from October 23, 2021 – February 13, 2022.

The show has a virtual visit that you can see here. You can see my artist talk on YouTube. Read the review on Kent Stephens Cheeky Magpie culture blog.

How can the eighteenth century Reds, with their luxurious goods and gorgeous clothes, employ the seemingly interchangeable Greys who labor for them with early twentieth century tech? The magical and violent leaders, Wolfman and the Horseman Vizier make us realize we aren’t in Kansas anymore.

The exhibit’s title, Pull Back the Curtain, is a nod to the Wizard of Oz. Curtains reveal and conceal.

The premier of the newest Video series: Chess Set: Games 1, 2 and 3 will be on view. These short vivid fantasies explore the way the Reds and Greys interact.
