A new project by B. Lynch
Justice is a virtue, Judgment may or may not be fair. Part medieval mystery play, pitting good and evil, part the reckoning of our heart after death and part theatrical experimentation, my new project asks: what is Justice, what is judgment and how do they differ. This timely project reflects on the saving grace of justice and the distortion and lack of empathy that happens all too often. In our uncertain time, I think it is worth revisiting ideas such as fairness and corruption. Why do humans value ethical choices, but often choose something else to get ahead?
This is a developing project using video, puppets, large-scale figures, artist books and performing objects set within a created fantasy.
