Kicking off the summer with an intriguing show of all sculpture at Worcester State University. The Mary Cosgrove Dolphin Gallery is presenting Sculptural Elements, from June 8 – July 9. The opening reception is June 8 from 5-7 at 486 Chandler St. Worcester MA. The gallery is located in the Ghosh Science and Technology Center.
I’ve added a new member to my hand-puppets. The Puppetmaster is ready for action and has two new hand-puppets of her own. I am planning a fun recursive video about puppetry and manipulation.
I also recently finished a tall format object with drawings called Without Hope We Live in Desire. This project is loosely based on Dante’s Divine Comedy. The quote that serves as my title is from the Inferno and has fascinated me for thirty years. The words seem a metaphor for both my Reds and Greys and current society. The panel Fool has close connections to my above puppet, the Tarot and the possibilities of life.
